Please be aware that:

Apartment units under EUR 80.000 are hard to find (esp. in downtown / central areas)

Apartment blocks under EUR 600.000 are hard to find (esp. in downtown / central areas)

German banks are very reluctant in helping finance non-residents (through mortgages etc.), especially with purchase prices below EUR 250.000. If you need financial help from a German bank, it is absolutely necessary to start applying for mortgages as soon as possible. We advise you to try to get financing in your home country as well.

In reaction to some reports in foreign media about Germany , we also would like to inform you that it is almost impossible to achieve net yields of 8 % or more on apartment blocks or apartments. Yields of apartment blocks above net 5,7 % and of single apartment units above net 3,5 % are regarded as good.
